Abstract Landscape Series – No.12

Created in homage to Cape Breton’s beautiful coastline using handmade papers imported from Japan, India and more.  Handmade paper provide the inspiration for these rich surfaces full of texture and colours that uplift. Additions of found papers and gold leaf add variety and visually interesting contrast. Created with human hands without the use of chemicals and an annually renewable plant source handmade papers serve as a rich surface for applications of pigments and other media.
